One day, my coach was conversing with a brother in the church, they were so engrossed in their discussion but something suddenly interrupted them. The generator tripped

off and he happened to be in charge of the electrical department.

Without excusing the brother, he ran off but I guess when he remembered he didn’t take an excuse from the brother who was younger in age. He ran back, apologized, then he told the brother to excuse him.

I noted the consciousness with which he came back to make amendment to the younger brother. He could have overlooked this because of the age difference but because of what Paul says in Acts 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

Let’s underline the always in the context, it means at any time and with anyone. We need to be very conscious of this fact so as not to offend anyone not minding the age.

When I thought more on this then I realized the humility in display, I know the brother he was chatting with wouldn’t have minded because he is also a worker and he knew the church needed illumination at that instance.

However, for conscience and clarity sakes, let’s clarify everything that needs to be clarified. Let’s learn to reference people and never look down on anyone because you never can tell who is watching and reading you.

Remember, Your life is a book before their eyes.
