Wow! I can’t believe this is how God’s faithfulness works.

Presently, I am in a Christian Writers’ group, where we encourage one another and also watch each others’

back.

This morning, someone posted something about somebody being stranded and in dire need of transport fare.

I encouraged everyone to always be at alert to safe lives with spoken and written words (as that is the purpose of the group) and also with whatever they have within reach be it cash or material things.

She further said we should save someone from committing suicide as she has tried her best, hence, she sought for our assistance.

After my post on the group, the poster sent a private message to me, I don’t know why but maybe because of what I wrote. Seeing her message, I was left with no option than to reach out even when I had a pressing need myself.

Well not as if I have much, I only had a customers’ money in my account. After I gave it a thought, I said a short prayer, I told the lady that I don’t have much, hence, I’ll send the exact amount.

Few minutes later, I got it done and she thanked me and also said the person is grateful.

Well, why am I writing all these? It is not to blow my trumpet, not at all. Rather, it is because I want to appreciate God who has rewarded me instantly.

I was expecting some money from the mother of a boy I tutored but the money wasn’t forth coming, rather, I was given series of excuses. Just this morning, I saw the boy in the class and just thought about the money because the mother promised the previous Friday.

After about three hours, one of my senior colleagues whom we both tutored the boy called me and said the mother of the boy sent in some cash and pleaded for more time to balance up.

I was wowed! For what I have done just this morning, the Lord has already rewarded me and it came when I least expected. The money was a little over what I sent to the person.

This is a lesson to everyone, whatever you can do to help someone in dire need around you, do it without expecting a reward from anyone because God is the only rewarder.

No wonder the word of God says : “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38

I know this is just the beginning, because God is a faithful rewarder.

I was almost wrapping up my above written testimony when another debtor I never expected came and paid what she owed me. Making it double miracle just in a day.

Isn’t our God wonderful?

Be good to others without expecting anything in return.

God is wonderful!
